Presenting Hollywood’s hottest new comedy duo…
Jennifer Lawrence and Chris Pratt showcased amazing chemistry and brought the laughs as they goofed around onstage during their presentation of their new sci-fi adventure movie Passengers at CinemaCon 2016 in Las Vegas Tuesday.
The two bantered and at one point, the actor dropped his microphone…on the actress’ foot, prompting her to yell out with mock pain, according to multiple outlets, including Vanity Fair. Lawrence, 25, also started singing the chorus from Billy Joel‘s “The Longest Time,” EW reported.
Reading from a teleprompter, the actress and Pratt, 36, begun to talk about their characters in the new film before they started to improvise.

“You guys must be getting bored,” Pratt said, according to Vanity Fair. “I hope you’re getting drunk and making lots of mistakes. That’s what Vegas is all about. I don’t know exactly how a movie theater works. You do.”
“I worked in a movie theater,” Lawrence added, drawing applause.
Passengers depicts a spacecraft transporting thousands of people, who have been put in hibernation, to a distant colony planet. Lawrence and Pratt play two of them, who are awakened too early, decades away from reaching their destination. Her character is a New York writer, while he plays a mechanic.
“I really am extremely proud of this movie,” Pratt said.
“Me, too,” Lawrence added. “If that sounded like I was being sarcastic, I was not. [The audience] started laughing and I want to make it clear that I am serious.”
Passengers also stars Michael Sheen, 47, and Laurence Fishburne, 54, and is set for release on Dec. 21.
During the onstage presentation, Lawrence joked that theater owners should give half off for tickets, Variety reported. quoting Sony Pictures chief Tom Rothman to say, “Like hell they are!”
